The GMK5165‑2 features CraneSTAR, a system used to remotely monitor crane data. The TWIN-LOCK boom pinning system used automatically pin the sections in position when they are extended, limiting safety hazards and saving time and money. The Daimler Chrysler 16 speed transmission system with a two stage transfer case gives the operator the control needed to prevent safety hazards, and efficiently travel through a jobsite. The engine has the power to complete any job thrown at it. The GMK5165‑2 is powered by a Mercedes-Benz OM 502 LA eight cylinder, water cooled, turbo charged engine.
